How to Use Prisma Dressing

Prisma dressing is a wound dressing that absorbs any drainage that may take place around an open wound. It may be used for diabetic foot ulcers, pressure ulcers, venous ulcers, abrasions, and donor sites. Prisma dressing provides protection while a wound heals. It contains low levels of silver that assist in ridding a wound of bacteria. This dressing works with wound drainage in order to form a gel. The gel provides a great environment for healing, as it keeps the area moist.

If you need to use Prisma dressing for any type of wound, be sure to carefully follow instructions on its application for the quickest possibility of healing and to avoid infection.
